In a unique collaboration with Google, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop built original digital puppets for the occasion, resulting in a custom Google Doodle – the company’s awesome, often interactive alternative front page logos. To go along with Doodle, Jim’s son Brian (who now runs the family business) wrote a poignant tribute to his father for the Google Blog.
