The residents of the small town of Jericho, Kansas are rightfully stirred upon being one of the areas spared in a nuclear attack on 23 major U.S. cities. When the troubled Jake Green returns home to Jericho to collect inheritance from his dead father, he is stranded by the results of the nuclear event. Jake becomes the unlikely leader of the residents of Jericho as they try to survive in the aftermath of the nuclear attacks.
