The History of The Green Lantern
Set to be released in summer 2011 in 3D, the highly anticipated Green Lantern Movie stars Ryan Reynolds as the popular DC Comics character who wields the Green Power Ring. Reynolds will portray Hal Jordan, one of several men to don the Green Lantern title. Directed by Martin Campbell (The Mask of Zorro), Green Lantern Movie also stars sexy starlet Blake Lively as Hal Jordan’s love interest. Sticking with the DC Comics story, the film will tell the tale of the Green Lantern Corps, a brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic peace. These Superheroes get their power from the Green Power Ring. A video game, Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, will also be released the same time as the film.
