Major League follows Rachel Phelps as she aims to move the Cleveland Indians, who she inherited after her husband’s death, to a warmer climate. To do so, she has to create a terrible team, and she has the team’s general manager recruit veteran players with a number of issues. Through an act of retaliation to Phelps’ plan, the team works toward improvement and makes winning the pennant their goal.
