Queer as Folk was a Showtime TV series and the first of its kind to push the boundaries of how love could be portrayed between two people of the same sex. The series follows a group of up and coming professionals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as they deal with some of the most controversial human rights issues including: hate crimes, discrimination, and same-sex marriage.
