Family Ties

Family Ties is a television sitcom that aired on NBC for seven seasons, from 1982 to 1989. CBS Home Entertainment later released the series on DVD.

The show revolves around the Keaton Familys three children and parents. The parents(Elyse and Steven Keaton), are former hippies and very liberal. The children play conservatives who constantly debate with their parents. One of the children(Alex P. Keaton) is played by actor Michael J. Fox.
