Nearly 40 years since his premature death, Bruce Lee remains the most famous Martial Artist of the 20th Century. A cultural icon, Bruce Lee brought the Chinese fighting form of Kung Fu to a generation of Americans through action-packed films like Enter The Dragon and Fist of Fury. Much more than just an actor and fighting expert, Bruce Lee was also a philosopher, film director and screen writer. Born in San Francisco, Lee was raised in Hong Kong. Bruce Lee elevated the traditional Hong Kong Martial Arts Film to a new level of popularity and acclaim, and created a major surge of interest in Chinese Martial Arts in the West in the 1970s. Bruce Lee died in 1973 while on the set of his final film, Enter the Dragon.
