The History of Psych
Following the success of Monk, USA Network scored another comedy/detective series hit with Psych, which debuted in 2006. The Comedy Series stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a young police consultant who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that law enforcement thinks he has psychic powers. Psych also stars Dule Hill as Spencer’s sidekick Gus and Corbin Bersen as his disapproving father. Every episode of Psych begins with a flashback and ends with Shawn and Gus solving the crime. About to begin its sixth season on USA Network, Psych has developed a bevy of fans and shows no sign of slowing down.
